Ayesha Ijaz on Instagram: "We often forget that our emotional states aren’t only reactions—they’re also choices. While we can’t control every trigger or situation, we can choose how we show up inside them. When you intentionally choose joy, lightness, or playfulness—even small, silly moments—you’re giving your nervous system a chance to reset. Silliness, warmth, and laughter activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress hormones and increasing feelings of safety. When you choose “happy over grumpy,” you are practicing emotional regulation and nurturing your own mental health. Your presence becomes healing because grounded, joyful energy is contagious. When you arrive in a space with authenticity and openness, you model a healthier emotional state for others, helping them co-regulate. In this way, healing doesn’t always come through deep conversations sometimes it begins with a smile, a playful moment, or the gentle choice to be kind to yourself. #rumi #theartofbecoming #ayeshaijaz #psychology #therapistofinstagram"

Emotional Energy on Instagram: "🥹 Sorry for coming into your life when you never needed me. I thought I was someone important to you, but now I see I was just there hoping for something that was never real. You never made space for me, never fought to keep me, and yet, I stayed, believing in something that only existed in my heart. I should have walked away the first time I felt ignored, the first time I questioned my place. But I held on, thinking maybe you'd see my worth. Now, I know I was only holding on to a false hope, and that hurts more than anything. #lovequotes #relationships #fypシ❤️💞❤️ #fblifestyle"
